Growing up in an artistic family in which my dad painted Chinese landscape and floral design and my mom would in turn embroiled them into colorful clothing for me and my sisters, I developed an aesthetic sense of the color and shape. As a retired professional librarian, I take great joy in devoting more time to paint from oriental brush work to western watercolor and more recently oil on canvas.
